Drama is an important aspect of our arts curriculum. Pupils' language development and learning are enhanced through role play in the early years, whilst later on drama can be used as a powerful tool to enhance children's learning in all areas of the curriculum, as well as providing opportunities for pupils' personal development and self-confidence.

Pupils have opportunities to perform in class assemblies and other focused drama activities and productions. Drama forms part of the Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon curriculum carousel, when children have the opportunity to work in mixed-age groups and stage a production for parents. The Year 6 Drama Club meets after school each Friday, and in recent years has staged at least one production per year. There are also mid-year productions by other year groups as well as a Year 6 summer production

'What A Knight' (Year 6, 2017); 'Archie Dobson's War' (Drama Club, 2016); 'Cinders' (Year 6, 2016)
