We have the following vacancies.

  • Headteacher 

    Claygate Primary School is seeking an inspirational, values-driven Headteacher to lead our thriving, inclusive and high-performing primary school into its next chapter.

    Located on a beautiful green site in the heart of Claygate village, we are a popular two-form entry school with a Governor-led Nursery from age two, outstanding personal development and strong academic outcomes placing us among the top-performing schools nationally.

    Our most recent Ofsted inspection (2023) judged the school Good, with Outstanding Early Years and Outstanding Personal Development. We pride ourselves on nurturing happy, confident learners through a rich, creative curriculum, exceptional wellbeing provision, extensive enrichment and strong community partnerships.

    This role is suitable for an experienced Headteacher or a senior leader ready for their first headship. You will build on strong foundations, lead a highly skilled and committed staff team and work closely with an engaged Governing Body and a supportive parent community.

Support staff roles:

  • Full or Part time Level 3 qualified practitioner to join our Acorns Nursery as soon as possible. We would also be interested in anyone wanting to join us as bank staff to cover absences. Please state which hours you would be interested in on your application. Our nursery was recently graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.
  • Full-time Teaching Assistant to join our team 
  • Assistant Caretaker  
  • Headteacher
