Financial Information
Financial Benchmarking
The Government benchmarks our school’s finances against other similar schools and publishes these findings annually. This process helps provide a clear picture of how our financial resources are being managed in comparison to schools of a similar size and demographic.
Our Board of Governors play a key role in overseeing the financial management of the school. They ensure that the school’s funding is spent effectively, prioritising the needs of our children and maintaining high standards of education and care. The governors regularly review financial reports and work closely with the senior leadership team to make informed decisions that support the long-term success of the school.
You can access the financial benchmarking data for Claygate Primary School, as well as other schools, through the link below. This information provides transparency and ensures accountability in how we allocate funding to support the educational needs of our students.

School Budgets and The Friends of CPS
At Claygate Primary, our funding is based on pupil numbers, and with spare places, we receive less funding than in previous years. To support the school, The Friends of CPS charity (Registered Charity No. 1172759) was established in 2017.
We suggest a voluntary monthly donation of £15 per child (£30 for two or more), with Gift Aid allowing us to claim 20% tax relief. Your support makes a real difference to our school and students. Thank you for your generosity!
